Blueberry “Pop Tarts”
Cooking mode
When entering cooking mode - We will enable your screen to stay ‘always on’ to avoid any unnecessary interruptions whilst you cook!
- 1 pack (320g) Just Roll Short Crust Pastry
- 120g blueberry preserves (strawberry or black current can be substituted)
- 1 tbsp corn flour
- For dusting Plain flour
For the topping
- 75g icing sugar
- 1 tbsp water
- To top 100's & 1000's, sprinkles or other topping of choice

Step 1
Unroll the pastry sheet, lightly sprinkle with flour and cut into 8 even rectangles (9cm X 11cm)

Mix preserves and corn flour and drop about 2 tablespoons in the center of 4 of the rectangles and spread, leaving a border around the edge. Place the remaining rectangles over the filling and press down with fingers lightly. Dock the edges all the way around the tart with a fork. You may need to dip the fork into flour if it sticks. Be sure to seal well.

Step 3
Insert Crisper plate in basket and place basket in unit. Preheat unit by selecting BAKE 160˚C to 3 minutes. Select START/STOP to begin

Once unit has preheated place 2 tarts at a time in unit and close. Select BAKE, set temperature to 160˚C, and set time for 20 minutes. Select START/STOP to begin. Check after 10 minutes, flip over with tongs and cook 10 more minutes until golden on both sides. Remove and cool

Mix icing sugar and water and once tarts are completely cooled drizzle with glaze and sprinkles.
