Cheese Toastie

The ultimate in comfort food – this cheese toastie makes the best easy lunch and you can add whatever you like to it – Onions, sliced Meat, Pickles!

Cooking mode

  • 2 slices thick White Bread
  • 2-3 tbsp Butter
  • 50 - 75g your favourite Cheese (sliced or grated) - Good options are a strong Cheddar, Gruyere, Mozzarella or a mixture of the 3

Utensils

  • Step 1

    Preheat Air Fryer to 180C.

  • Step 2

    Butter both slices of bread all on both sides.

  • Step 3

    Add the cheese to the first layer of bread.

  • Step 4

    Top with the other slice of bread.

  • Step 5

    Place the sandwich in the air fryer basket.

  • Step 6

    Air Fry at for about 6 minutes for the cheese to melt.

  • Step 7

    Then flip and cook for a further 2 – 4 minutes.
