Cooking mode

  • 150g gluten-free flour
  • 40g cocoa powder
  • 100g sweetener
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 250ml milk of choice
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 tbsp oil
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

For the topping

  • 3 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 2 tbsp almond butter
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp milk of choice
  • cherries
  • flaked almonds

Utensils

  • Step 1

    Make the cakes: Place all of the cake ingredients into your Ninja Kitchen food processor and blend well to form a batter. Spoon between 6 x small greased silicone cake tins and bake at 180C for 20-25 minutes until firm. Leave to cool then pop out onto a wire rack.

  • Step 2

    Whisk together the cocoa powder, almond butter, syrup and milk to form a slightly thick chocolate sauce and spoon over each cake.

  • Step 3

    Arrange a few cherries in the middle and sprinkle over flaked almonds. Enjoy!
