Chocolate Granola

Why buy sugar loaded granola, when you can make your own at home? This recipe uses minimal ingredients and you can make it in large batches for the week. This recipe makes the most crunchy granola clusters.

Cooking mode

When entering cooking mode - We will enable your screen to stay ‘always on’ to avoid any unnecessary interruptions whilst you cook!

  • 200g gluten-free oats
  • 20g sugar-free cocoa powder
  • 50g chopped almonds, 50g walnut pieces
  • 30g stevia
  • 3 large egg whites

Utensils

  • Step 1

    Begin by pre-heating the oven at 150c degrees.

  • Step 2

    Separate the egg whites and place them in a mixing bowl and whisk until they are thick and fluffy.

  • Step 3

    Pour all of the dry ingredients directly in the bowl of your Ninja Kitchen with the dough blade.

  • Step 4

    Pulse for a few seconds to mix the dry ingredients, then pour in the egg whites.

  • Step 5

    Select low for approximately 20 seconds to gently combine the dry ingredients with the egg whites.

  • Step 6

    Pour the wet granola over a baking tray lined with greaseproof paper and press the granola flat on the tray.

  • Step 7

    Place the granola in the oven for 1 hour, however, remove the granola every 15 minutes and give it a gentle stir, place back in the oven and repeat.
