Custard Cream Ice Cream

Cooking mode

When entering cooking mode - We will enable your screen to stay ‘always on’ to avoid any unnecessary interruptions whilst you cook!

  • 35g custard powder
  • 35g caster sugar
  • 150ml double cream
  • 100g condensed milk
  • 150ml whole milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Toppings (optional)

  • 8 custard creams (biscuits)

Utensils

  • Step 1

    Whisk the custard powder and caster sugar together in a large bowl. Add the cream, condensed milk, milk and vanilla extract, then whisk again until well combined.  

  • Step 2

    Pour mixture into the tub. Place storage lid on top and freeze for 24 hours.

  • Step 3

    Remove tub from freezer, remove lid, then place tub in outer bowl. Install paddle into outer bowl lid and lock the lid assembly on the outer bowl. Place bowl assembly on motor base and twist the handle right to raise the platform and lock in place.

  • Step 4

    Select ICE CREAM.

  • Step 5

    Once processing is complete, remove ice cream from tub and serve immediately. Break biscuits into pieces and sprinkle on top.
