Gluten-Free Waffles

These Gluten-Free Waffles are packed with nutritious ingredients and are ready in no time. Perfect served with pure maple syrup, greek yogurt, and fresh berries for a delicious breakfast.

Cooking mode

  • 170g gluten-free self raising flour
  • 70g arrowroot flour
  • 70g ground almonds
  • 35g coconut sugar
  • 1 tbsp milled linseed
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp sea salt
  • 3 eggs
  • 310ml milk
  • 45g butter (melted)
  • 1 tsp vanilla paste or 2 tsp vanilla extract

Utensils

  • Step 1

    Pre-heat your waffle iron as per the manufacturer’s instructions.

  • Step 2

    Add the flours, ground almonds, coconut sugar, linseed, baking powder and sea salt to the jug. Secure the lid then press the pulse button a few times to combine.

  • Step 3

    Add the remaining ingredients and turn the dial to select BLEND then press the dial to start blending. Once the unit has finished blending scrape down the sides with a silicone spatula and press the pulse button a few times.

  • Step 4

    Pour the batter into the waffle maker and cook for 2 to 2 and a half minutes until golden. Repeat until all of the batter has been used. Serve with pure maple syrup, greek yogurt, and fresh berries.

    Notes:

    If you cannot get arrowroot flour sub for more gluten-free self raising flour and add a dash more milk if needed.
