Mango and Passionfruit Ice Rooibos Tea

This Mango and Passionfruit Ice Rooibos Tea is a super refreshingly fruity fun twist on regular ice tea, minus the caffeine!

Cooking mode

When entering cooking mode - We will enable your screen to stay ‘always on’ to avoid any unnecessary interruptions whilst you cook!

  • 2 rooibos (redbush) tea bags
  • 1 tsp grated ginger
  • 300ml freshly boiled water
  • 3 passionfruit
  • 1/2 large mango, flesh only, frozen
  • Honey or maple syrup
  • Ice

Utensils

  • Step 1

    Add the tea bags, grated ginger, and hot water to a heatproof jug and leave to steep for 10 minutes. Remove the tea bags and set to one side.

  • Step 2

    Scoop out the passionfruit seeds and set aside in a small bowl.

  • Step 3

    Turn the blender ON by holding the power button.

  • Step 4

    Unscrew the lid from the vessel and half the passionfruit seeds, frozen mango, and brewed tea. Then secure the lid back on the vessel.

  • Step 5

    To blend, double-click the Blend Button.

  • Step 6

    When blending is complete, hold the power button to turn the unit off. Check the flavour of the drink then add honey if using and repeat blending process if necessary.

  • Step 7

    Add ice and the remaining passionfruit seeds to a large highball glass. Pour over the tea and serve immediately with a slice of fruit and mint sprig if desired.
