Ingredients

  • 100g dark chocolate
  • 2 tbsp coconut oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 100g apple puree
  • 100g gluten-free flour
  • 100g ground almonds
  • 30g cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 4 tbsp mincemeat
  • Flaked almonds, to decorate

Method

  • Step 1

    Melt the chocolate and coconut oil then set aside to cool slightly.

  • Step 2

    Place the eggs, apple puree, flour, ground almonds, cocoa powder, cinnamon and baking into your Ninja Kitchen food processor then pour in the melted chocolate. Blend to form a batter.

  • Step 3

    Spoon into a 9x9in greased and lined baking tin and smooth out. Dot around some mincemeat and swirl around gently. Sprinkle over flaked almonds then bake for 25-30 minutes at 180C until golden and cooked through.

  • Step 4

    Leave to cool then cut into 9 or 12 pieces. Remove from the tin and enjoy!
