Onion Rings
Cooking mode
When entering cooking mode - We will enable your screen to stay ‘always on’ to avoid any unnecessary interruptions whilst you cook!
- 2 large onions
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup almond milk
- 3/4 cup flour
- 1/2 tsp paprika powder
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/3 tsp harrisa powder
- 1 cup panko crumbs
- salt and pepper

Step 1
Set the fryer on 180 degrees.

In one bowl mix flour, spices, egg and milk. Mix well until everything is well combined and smooth. The batter should have thick consistency.

Prepare the onions. Trim the ends, peel off the skin and cut lengthwise in 1cm slices.

Carefully separate the sliced onions into rings.

Dip the onion rings in the batter; then, coat them in panko.

Step 6
Place the rings in the basket. Do no overcrowd it.

Step 7
Bake it for 6-8 min. But check it halfway.

Serve with favourite sauce.
