Orange Almond Cake

Cooking mode

- 170g butter
- 170g caster sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tbsp greek yoghurt
- 1 orange - zest only
- 55g ground almonds
- 115g self raising flour
- 2 tbsp flaked almonds

Step 1
Grease and line an 8 inch round tin with greaseproof paper.

Beat together the butter and sugar for 5 mins or until pale.

Add 1 egg and beat until combined and then beat in the second egg.

Fold in yoghurt, orange zest, almonds and self raising flour.

Scrape the batter into the prepared tin.

Step 6
Add to the Ninja Foodi on a low rack.

Step 7
Back at 140C for 35 minutes.

Step 8
Top with flaked almonds and bake for a further 20 – 25 minutes or until a skewer inserted into the middle comes out clean.
