- 100g oats
- 4 large eggs
- 1 banana
- 2 tbsp chocolate protein powder
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 2 tsp soda bicarbonate
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp chia seeds
- 1 tsp nutmeg
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- Maple syrup and summer fruits to serve

Step 1
Add all the ingredients to a blender and blend into a smooth paste.

Place the flat plate in the grill and preheat with the lid closed.

Once preheated open the lid and pour some of the mixture , forming 2-3 pancakes. Cook for 2-3 mins – if you wish to speed up the process, close the lid but be careful not to overcook the pancakes as they will become dense and chewy. Once the pancakes are nearly set , flip and cook for another minute.

Step 4
Repeat with the rest of the mixture.

Step 5
Serve the pancakes topped with maple syrup, blueberries and fresh strawberries.

Once cooked these can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days or 30 days in the freezer. Reheat gently in the microwave.
Note: replace the oats with Gluten-free outs for a Coeliac friendly alternative.
