Roast Sea Bass with Garlic Dill Potatoes

Cooking mode

  • 1 whole (about 1kg) sea bass (gutted and scaled)
  • 2 lemons, sliced
  • 1 bunch parsley
  • 2 tbsp fresh dill
  • 500g new potatoes
  • 2-3 cloves fresh garlic
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 onion sliced into rings
  • Olive oil
  • To season salt and pepper

Utensils

  • Step 1

    Wash the sea bass inside and out and pat dry with kitchen paper. Cut the skin about 3-4 times on each side and add lemon slices, parsley stalks, dill stalks, sliced onions inside the fish. Cover and place in the fridge until needed

  • Step 2

    Cut the potatoes in 1/2 inch discs and wash them. Pat dry and coat them in 1 tbsp of olive oil, chopped dill, minced garlic, paprika, salt and pepper

  • Step 3

    Preheat the ninja grill to 200ºC roast. Set the timer to 15 mins and cook the potatoes directly on the grill plate. In the mean time remove the fish from the fridge, brush both sides with olive oil and season generously with salt and pepper

  • Step 4

    When the timer has finished, turn the potatoes over add the sea bass in the middle of the grill with the potatoes around it and cook for another 12-15 mins. Check the fish is ready – the skin should be crispy, flesh firm to touch and flaky

  • Step 5

    Serve on a tray with vegetables and 1/2 lemons as pictured
