For the ice cream

  • 150g ripe strawberries, chopped
  • 2 tsp basil leaves, chopped
  • 1 tsp caster sugar
  • 350ml ready-made vanilla or strawberry protein shake
  • 2 tbsp instant custard powder

Toppings (optional)

  • Sprig of basil leaves
  • Strawberry slices

Cooking mode

When entering cooking mode - We will enable your screen to stay ‘always on’ to avoid any unnecessary interruptions whilst you cook!


  • Step 1

    In a small bowl, mash strawberries with basil leaves and sugar. Leave for 10 minutes. 

  • Step 2

    Pour strawberry mixture, protein shake and custard powder into an empty tub. Whisk to combine. Place a storage lid on the tub and freeze for 24 hours. 

  • Step 3

    Remove tub from freezer and remove lid from tub. Please use the Quick Start Guide for assembly and processing information. 

  • Step 4

    Select LITE ICE CREAM. Re-spin as necessary. 

  • Step 5

    Once processing is complete, remove ice cream from tub. Top with strawberry slices and basil leaves. Serve immediately.
