Cooking mode

For the crumble topping (Food processor)

  • 75g butter, cut into cubes
  • 150g plain flour
  • 75g demerara sugar

For the filling (Food processor)

  • 800g cooking apples, peeled and cored
  • 200g blackberries
  • 2 tbsp water
  • 75g granulated sugar

For the topping (Food processor)

  • 2 tbsp demerara sugar
  • 10g flaked almonds

For the crumble topping (Foodi)

  • 40g butter
  • 80g plain flour
  • 40g demerara sugar
  • 2 tsp pumpkin seeds
  • 2 tsp sunflower seeds
  • 1 tbsp rolled oats
  • 1 tbsp demerara sugar

For the filling (foodi)

  • 400g bramley or cooking apples
  • 100g blackberries
  • 2 tbsp water
  • 40g granulated sugar to taste

    Preheat oven to 190°C/gas mark 5. 

  • Step 2

    Install the chopping blade in the Precision Processor® Bowl. Add butter and flour in bowl and select CHOP 

  • Step 3

    Add sugar and select CHOP again.  

  • Step 4

    Remove the chopping blade from the bowl and set aside crumble mixture.  Install the disc spindle in the bowl. Place the reversible disc, slicing side up, on the spindle. Install feed chute lid and place apple quarters in feed chute. Select LOW, then use the pusher to push apples through the chute. When all the apples are sliced, stop program and layer apple slices into a shallow ovenproof baking dish, with blackberries, water and granulated sugar. Sprinkle over crumble mix and top with demerara sugar.

    Bake in oven for 30 minutes until golden brown.
