Banana Oat Bars

The most simple recipe with ingredients you probably already have at home! These banana oat bars are delicious for a on-the-go breakfast, mid-morning snack or afternoon pick-me-up. They’re gluten free, vegan and only contain a few ingredients. The perfect quick bake!

Cooking mode

  • 5 ripe bananas
  • 360g oats
  • 3 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • A pinch salt

Utensils

  • Step 1

    Pre-heat your oven to 180 degrees celsius.

  • Step 2

    Add the bananas to your blender along with the maple syrup and blend until smooth.

  • Step 3

    In a mixing bowl combine the banana and maple syrup mixture with the oats, cinnamon and pinch of salt. Mix well.

  • Step 4

    Line a baking tray with baking paper and pour in the mixture, pressing down firmly until compact.

  • Step 5

    Bake in the oven for approximately 20 minutes.

  • Step 6

    Allow to cool for 20 minutes before slicing into bars.
