Smoked Guacamole

Cooking mode

  • 2 ripe avocados
  • 1 tsp sunflower oil
  • ½ small red onion, peeled and quartered
  • 1 small red chilli, deseeded
  • 1 garlic clove, peeled
  • 1 large tomato, deseeded and quartered
  • 10g fresh coriander, leaves
  • ½ tsp smoked paprika
  • Juice of half a lime
  • Pinch of salt and pepper
  • Tortilla chips, to serve

Utensils

  • Step 1

    Cut avocados in half and remove stoneBrush with oil and place on a preheated griddle panGrill for 2-4 minutes until grill lines appear. Allow to cool.

  • Step 2

    Place onion, chilli, garlic, tomato and coriander into the bowl, then install the blade assembly. 

  • Step 3

    Press PULSE 2-3 times until roughly chopped. Twist Power Paddle anti-clockwise continuously while blending.

  • Step 4

    Add avocado, sprinkle over lime juice and seasoning. Press PULSE 2-4 times until the desired consistency is reached. 

  • Step 5

    Remove blades after blending and serve with tortilla chips.
